Director Statement :
This narrative music video for glam folk musician Auditorium is the third in a series of short narratives I've directed set to his indelible songs. Sunday is a hopeful song, uplifting and deeply personal. I chose to create a video about loss, both societal and personal, that contrasted with the music and gave it a bygone, haunting quality. The video was shot in and around Placerville, California, and the home movies are a combination of friends' VHS home movies and my own personal 8mm films from a childhood long gone by.
